I-I District History

The I-I District was officially chartered on March 29th, 1960, though we started out involvement on the International level in 1953 with Aubrey Stickley serving as International Trustee. From then on, the I-I has had a distinguished history in Circle K, including being home of Carthage College, where Circle K began.

We have won many awards on the International level, starting with 2nd place in Club Achievement going to Quincy University in 1961 continuing through the present!

Our first District Convention was held at Carthage College in 1960.
