District Events

Each year, the district board hosts multiple events to promote leadership, fellowship, and service. These events include Kiwanis Family Picnic, Leadership Training Retreat, Holiday Embrace, and District Convention.

​

During these events, the members of the district can come together as a family for fellowship at the Kiwanis Family Picnic, to develop leadership skills at LTR, fundraise money towards research for Kiwanis Neuroscience Research Foundation at Holiday Embrace, and celebrate each others’ accomplishments at District Convention.

    Northern Illinois University
    Held in once a year during the fall season, Leadership, Empowerment and Fun (LEAF) engages members in the leadership, fellowship, and service tenets of CKI. The event is typically held at a camp or the gymnasium of a college campus. It is a great opportunity for members to build bonds with members.
